The St. Louis Hills Special Business District (SBD) is a special taxing district that overlaps the boundaries of the St. Louis Hills Neighborhood, located in the City’s 2nd Ward.
The Board meets regularly on the third Wednesday of the Month to discuss business. More information on those meetings can be found by clicking here.
Bump out Landscaping
The St Louis Hills SBD is proud to announce its partnership with local company Cityscape Curators LLC to provide landscaping services to the newly installed bump out near Francis Park at the intersection of Childress and Nottingham as well as the median near the intersection of Jamieson and Donovan. The designs focus on low growth, native plants to provide beautification without impeding the visibility of pedestrians or vehicles. The full design, including lists of plants utilized, can be seen here.
Earn-a-bike class is coming to Francis Park!
6PM Tuesdays June 16 to July 21
This free, six-week-long, hands-on St. Louis BWorks class is for students ages 8 to 17 years old who can already ride a bike on their own. Over the course of six two-hour evening sessions with our dedicated instructors, students hone basic bike maintenance and safety skills.
They earn a refurbished bike of their choosing, plus a lock, lights and helmet upon successful completion of the course. Consistent, engaged attendance each week is required in order to take home a bike to keep. Space is limited! Register at https://form.jotform.com/261175606491156 and send any questions to evie@bworks.org.
